Terms and Conditions

Introduction

At Pihu Makeup Studio & Salon, we strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our valued clients. We have established the following policies to ensure a smooth operation and to maintain a high level of service. By booking an appointment or availing yourself of our services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms & conditions outlined below.

Payment Policy for Advance Booking

We recommend scheduling an appointment in advance to guarantee your preferred date and time. Please arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive the full service. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment or rescheduling.

Payment Structure

  • Advance Payment: 40% of total service cost
  • On the Day of Event: 20% (before starting the service)
  • After completion of service: 40% on the day of the event

Late payment is not allowed under any circumstances.

Punctuality and Late Arrival Policy

Grace Period

We offer a short grace period of 15 minutes for late arrivals.

Late Arrival Fees

A late fee of ₹100 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if the scheduled service exceeds allotted time because of client delays.

Additional Services and Fees

Assistant Fee

If you would like to reduce the time taken to complete all services, an assistant would be recommended for an additional flat fee plus travel costs.

Travel Fee

Travel fees may be incurred depending on the return distance of travel required. This amount is specified in the quotation and is determined according to the location provided at the time of enquiry. If the location of the service changes after the agreed upon quotation is given and/or deposit is paid, we reserve the right to adjust the travel fee if the distance is increased.

Basic Hair Bookings

Please note if you have extra long hair, extra thick hair, or extensions to be clipped in or have forgotten to dry your hair - there may be an extra charge. This is up to your artist's discretion on the day of your appointment.

Supplies and Equipment

When performing the services, the Artist/Stylist will use their own supplies and equipment. The client must provide power supply if requested, adequate natural lighting, and clean and safe conditions for the artist to work in. If the artist deems that the environment is not of adequate sanitary or safety standards to work in, the artist reserves the right to refuse their services and the deposit will not be refunded or transferable.

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations

  • All deposited monies paid by client will be refunded if services are cancelled within two (2) days of deposit/booking received
  • After the two-day grace period, should a client cancel the booked event or any service specified in the quotation, the deposit will not be refunded or transferred
  • Any booking cancelled before 7 (seven) days of event date: 15% will be charged of the booking amount
  • If cancelled within 7 (seven) days of event date: 50% of the booking amount will be charged

Artist Cancellations

If an Artist/Stylist cancels at any time or is unable to perform their duties for any reason, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two (2) weeks. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings at our discretion. In this case, we will provide a full refund.

Consultations

We offer complimentary consultations to discuss your desired services and address any concerns you may have. Consultations allow our professionals to assess your needs and provide recommendations for the best results.

Hygiene and Safety

Our salon adheres to strict hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff. All equipment, tools, and brushes are regularly cleaned and disinfected following industry guidelines. We kindly request clients maintain personal hygiene by arriving clean and free from any contagious conditions.

Liability and Product Safety

All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction.

Product Usage and Allergies

We use high-quality professional products in our salon. If you have any known allergies or sensitivities, please inform our staff before your appointment. We cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from the use of products outside of our salon.

Pricing and Payments

Our pricing is based on the services provided and the expertise of our professional makeup artists. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets. Gratuity for exceptional service is appreciated but not required.

Special Occasions and Group Bookings

For bridal parties, special occasions, or group bookings, we recommend contacting us in advance to discuss your requirements and secure the desired appointments. A deposit or advance payment may be required for such bookings, and cancellation policies may vary. Please inquire for further details.

Use of Images & Copyright

Pihu Makeup Studio & Salon may use images on its website and/or in any advertising media it deems appropriate. The client also agrees to release the name and contact information to Pihu Makeup Studio & Salon of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which we have been contracted to provide services.

Please let us know in advance by written email if you do not wish to be photographed or if you are not happy for us to use your images for social media purposes - all staff will be notified. We do not show images from trials until after the wedding day and you will not be tagged in any such image on social networking sites, but are welcome to tag yourself. We refrain from asking for 'before & after' photos but are very grateful for volunteers.

Modifications to Services and Terms

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We also reserve the right to amend discounts or promotions at any time depending on our business. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the service.

Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the service or on any related website has been modified or updated.

We value your feedback and strive to continuously improve our services. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please let us know. We will address them promptly and professionally.

Agreement and Acceptance

Please read the above terms and conditions carefully before making a booking. It's the responsibility of the named person on the contact form to understand, agree, and accept responsibility for all booking conditions, including all payments due by specified dates. By proceeding to pay a deposit/booking fee you accept that you are entering into a contract and you agree to be bound by these conditions.
